What Is the Best Material for Garage Cabinets?
Florida changes everything. Materials that work in Arizona fail here.
Moisture-resistant melamine is our primary choice for most homeowner garages — handles humidity without swelling, easy to clean, won’t rust, cost-effective. We use two-millimeter edge banding (the industry uses thinner stuff that peels off in garages). For heavy tool storage or workshop use, powder-coated metal is the professional standard.
Avoid: particle board (swells in humidity, falls apart in 5–7 years), bare wood (warps, attracts termites), standard wire shelving (rusts in coastal air, doesn’t lock, items fall through).
How Much Do Garage Cabinets Cost?
Basic wall system (8–12 linear feet): $1,200–$2,500.
Mid-range with workbench integration (12–20 feet): $2,500–$5,000.
Premium multi-wall system with metal cabinets (20+ feet):
$5,000–$10,000+.

Starting with a visit to your garage, our designer measures every wall, discusses what you’re storing and how you use the space. Tool zones, automotive areas, seasonal storage, workbench needs, all mapped before design begins.

Custom 3D Design
By creating a 3D rendering showing your complete cabinet system, wall layout, depths, lockable sections, workbench integration. It will easily help you see and approve every detail before we cut a single piece.

In-House Manufacturing
Every cabinet built or shelf made to order, will be made with high quality materials. Quality materials, 2mm edge banding, long-lasting hardware. Not outsourced. Not shipped from a franchise warehouse. Made locally here, for Florida.

Professional Installation
Our in-house trained team will install to whatever specifications your garage requires. Proper weight distribution. Clean install. Most systems are completed in 1–2 days.
