Custom Dressing Room Design
Your Personal Showroom
A dressing room is a closet that became something more. More space. More intentionality. More of an experience—and less of a utility. When it's designed well, your dressing room feels like the most personal room in the house. We design them for Treasure Coast homeowners who know exactly what they want.
Custom Dressing Room Design Treasure Coast FL
The Treasure Coast luxury market has a specific character. Waterfront properties. Established families in Martin County. Active social lives that require a real wardrobe. Snowbird second homes that need to function at the same level as a primary residence.
These homes deserve closets that match. Not as an afterthought—as a deliberate part of how the house is designed and experienced. We've built dressing rooms in Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, and Jupiter for homeowners who wanted exactly that.
Some people call them luxury walk-in closets. Some call them personal showrooms. The point is the same: a space designed to display, organize, and celebrate your wardrobe—not just store it.
What a True Dressing Room Includes
Master suite walk-ins are our most complex projects. His and hers sections, island configurations, built-in drawer towers, jewelry storage, display areas for collector pieces. We’ve designed everything from practical master closets to full boutique-style personal showrooms.
Don’t let the smaller footprint limit the thinking. A well-designed reach-in closet can dramatically outperform what most homes have. Double-hang, shelf towers, drawer units—all designed to maximize a standard reach-in.
The closet where your day starts. James Dean talks about this: “They flow into their day so much cleaner and better… They have a home for their clean clothes. They have every little spot for their shoes. The night before they could pick out what they want so they can just go into their day.”
Integrated into door panels, column sections, or wall-mounted. Multiple mirror positions for a complete view.
An upholstered bench, a built-in seat, or an island configuration that accommodates a chair. Getting dressed is more enjoyable with somewhere to sit.
Ambient lighting for the room, task lighting in hanging sections, accent lighting for display areas. Good lighting transforms the experience.

Built for the Treasure Coast Lifestyle
Every material we use is specified for Florida’s climate. Real wood drawer boxes that don’t swell in humidity. 2mm edge banding—four times the industry standard. Hardware that operates smoothly year after year in coastal conditions.
James Dean Sisto has been making this argument since 1999: quality materials aren’t a luxury—they’re a requirement if you want something that lasts in this climate. That’s especially true for a dressing room, where the finish quality and hardware precision are on display every single day.
Everything is manufactured in our Jensen Beach shop. Not shipped from a franchise warehouse. Not outsourced. Built by our team, installed by our team.
The Design & Build Process
01
Design Consultation
When our designer arrives at your home, they’ll spend real time understanding your collection and your vision. Wardrobe inventory, room dimensions, display priorities, finish preferences. This isn’t a quick measure, it’s a design conversation.
02
3D Rendering
We will build a full 3D rendering that shows your dressing room in complete detail. Island placement, display sections, lighting design, mirror positions. You see exactly what you’re getting before we start.
03
Manufacturing
We get to work assembling your build, ensuring only quality materials and hardware are used for a lifetime warranty. Real wood drawer boxes, premium hardware, precision edge banding. Custom built and assembled to your approved design.
04
Installation
Our team handles the install personally. Our own trained professionals, employed by Able Closets, not subcontractors, have built hundreds of custom storage systems. They protect your home, verify every measurement, and clean up completely.
